What happened: PFF grades Brock Bowers first among tight ends with at least 15 targets at 85.8. Travis Kelce ranks second at 82.1, followed by Isaiah Likely at 80.8 and Sam LaPorta at 80.6.

Why it matters: The margin gives Bowers early separation in a tier where weekly output is tightly bunched. Bowers has also led tight ends in explosive catches during the 2026 regular season.

By the numbers: PFF offensive grade, min. 15 targets: Bowers 85.8; Kelce 82.1; Likely 80.8; LaPorta 80.6; Hockenson 77.5; Goedert 76.2; Mayer 75.9.

What to watch: Coming games will show whether Bowers holds the lead as target totals rise across the group.
