"You keep waiting for this team to have a hiccup, and they just haven't. They continue to find ways to win." - @Brandon

What happened: The Atlanta Braves have reached a league-leading 45-21 record, continuing a dominant run through the first third of the 2026 season. Broadcaster Brandon Gaudin noted the team's resilience, highlighting their ability to avoid extended slumps while maintaining a commanding lead in the NL East.

Why it matters: Atlanta currently holds a nine-game lead over the Phillies in the division and boasts the best team ERA in the National League at 3.19. The club's consistency is reflected in their recent No. 1 ranking in MLB Power Rankings, driven by a balanced attack and elite pitching.

By the numbers: Record: 45-21 (.682) | NL East Lead: 9.0 Games | Team ERA: 3.19 (1st in NL) | Home Runs: 90 (1st in NL) | Recent: 3-game sweep vs PIT

What to watch: The Braves begin a three-game interleague road series against the Chicago White Sox tonight at Guaranteed Rate Field.
