Broncos roster moves: 🏈Activated RB Jonah Coleman and OLB Jonathon Cooper to play Sunday at Arizona. 🏈Placed RB Tyler B Via @AdamSchefter on X

What happened: Denver cleared rookie running back Jonah Coleman from injured reserve after an ankle injury sidelined him since Sept. 26, while outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper returns following his Oct. 16 removal from the commissioner's exempt list. Running back Tyler Badie (thumb) and outside linebacker Jonah Elliss (ankle) were placed on injured reserve after already being ruled out for Sunday, per Adam Schefter.

Why it matters: The moves replenish key spots for a 4-2 Broncos squad riding a two-game winning streak as the No. 5 seed. Cooper restores proven pass-rush production on the edge to help offset the absence of Elliss, while Coleman steps back into the backfield rotation with Badie sidelined.

By the numbers: In 2025 with the Broncos, Cooper recorded 50 tackles and 8 sacks across 17 games, Elliss posted 28 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 13 games, and Badie rushed 8 times for 23 yards in 16 appearances. Denver selected Coleman in the fourth round (108th overall) of the 2026 NFL Draft out of Washington.

What to watch: Coleman and Cooper take the field Sunday at Arizona as the Broncos play their first game since defeating Seattle 17-14 on Oct. 15.
