What happened: Denver returned fourth-round selection Jonah Coleman and linebacker Jonathon Cooper to the active roster Saturday, per Mike Garafolo. Coleman was designated for return from injured reserve and resumed practicing Oct. 21.

Why it matters: The moves restore depth to the backfield and edge rotation as the Broncos look to build on a 17-14 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 15. Cooper brings veteran production to the defense after recording 50 tackles and eight sacks across 17 games for Denver in 2025.

By the numbers: Denver holds the No. 5 seed at 4-2 on a two-game winning streak. The club drafted Coleman 108th overall out of Washington in 2026 and selected Cooper 239th overall out of Ohio State in the seventh round in 2021.

What to watch: Coleman carries an ankle designation and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Arizona.
