What happened: Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton confirmed the team will travel to Charlotte on Friday ahead of its upcoming matchup. Payton emphasized that while the team adjusts for games in the Eastern time zone, the trip will not involve an extended stay away from team headquarters. The travel schedule maintains Denver's standard preparation routine in Colorado before flying east.

Why it matters: Denver faces multiple Eastern time zone matchups across the second half of the season, making travel and recovery management an operational focus. The Broncos enter the road trip following a 28-24 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 1. Keeping practice sessions at home minimizes schedule disruption while adjusting across multiple time zones.

What to watch: The Broncos will finish weekly practice installations before departing for Charlotte on Friday. Kickoff follows on Sunday afternoon.
