What happened: Former Denver quarterback Russell Wilson stated that the Broncos should make an aggressive push to acquire Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor. Wilson argued on CBS Sports that adding the All-Pro rusher would elevate Denver into the top tier of the AFC.

Why it matters: Denver is exploring backfield additions with Tyler Badie and RJ Harvey both sidelined on injured reserve. The Colts have engaged multiple suitors for Taylor ahead of the deadline after previously trading veterans DeForest Buckner and Quenton Nelson.

What to watch: The NFL trade deadline arrives on Nov. 10, with Indianapolis weighing offers for Taylor against its asking price of a first-round draft pick.
