What happened: The Cleveland Browns signed tight end Carsen Ryan from the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday. The team also signed running back Hassan Haskins to the practice squad.

Why it matters: Haskins joins Cleveland after being released from the Patriots practice squad on Oct. 17. Ryan, drafted in the seventh round out of BYU in 2026, earns an elevation to bolster depth at tight end.

By the numbers: In 2026 through 7 games, Ryan has made 1 tackle. Last season (2025), Haskins ran 17 times for 47 yards in 12 games with the Chargers.

What to watch: Ryan looks to contribute on special teams and offense, while Haskins begins work on the practice squad.
