What happened: Cal quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele and defensive back Kingston Lopa are set to return to the lineup against Wake Forest, per Pete Thamel. Sagapolutele and Lopa warmed up ahead of the Virginia Tech game on Oct. 10 before missing last week's contest with concussions.

Why it matters: Getting Sagapolutele and Lopa back restores two key starters on both sides of the ball for Cal's ACC matchup with Wake Forest. Both had been listed as questionable on the initial injury report alongside teammates Cooper Perry, Adam Mohammed, and Carson Perry-Smith.

What to watch: Sagapolutele and Lopa will take the field when Cal faces Wake Forest, where wide receiver Carlos Hernandez was also listed as questionable on the initial injury report.
