What happened: Goaltender Jacob Fowler posted his second shutout of the 2026-27 regular season to anchor the road victory.

Why it matters: Montreal is getting immediate contributions from young roster pieces after Fowler made his preseason debut earlier in October and Xhekaj drew leaguewide trade interest in August.

What to watch: Montreal looks to keep its winning streak rolling while Fowler and Xhekaj build on their early-season roles.
