What happened: Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to an ankle injury. The injury occurred during Arizona's latest contest, leaving the veteran wideout unable to return to action.

Why it matters: Bourne's absence removes an experienced perimeter target from the Cardinals' passing rotation as the offense adjusts midseason. His extended absence tests Arizona's depth at wide receiver following their recent road victory.

What to watch: The Cardinals will evaluate roster adjustments and determine whether to place Bourne on injured reserve ahead of their next practice session.
