What happened: The Atlanta Hawks ruled out Jalen Johnson with a left ankle sprain for Monday night's matchup at Indiana. Center Jock Landale is also sidelined with a left hip strain. Mouhamed Gueye remains out due to a left foot fracture, while Henri Veesaar will miss the contest with a torn right ACL.

Why it matters: Atlanta enters the matchup at 3-4 after falling 121-99 to the New Orleans Pelicans on Oct. 31. The absences leave the Hawks significantly depleted in the frontcourt against the Pacers.

By the numbers: Johnson has recorded 18.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game in 2026-27 through 7 games. Landale has recorded 6.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game in 2026-27 through 7 games.

What to watch: Atlanta faces Indiana on Monday night before continuing its road trip.
