What happened: The Arizona Cardinals chose Texas A&M guard Chase Bisontis with the 34th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Bisontis, considered late in Round 1, fell to early Round 2. Arizona opted against a quarterback.

Why it matters: Bisontis offers three years of starting experience, strong hands and a big frame for trenches work. He's seen as Round 1 talent and plug-and-play starter bolstering the O-line. Move shows no QB panic, patience in draft.
