What happened: Los Angeles Chargers offensive tackle Joe Alt received positive news from a specialist visit this week after missing a couple of games with a neck injury, per @RapSheet. Sources indicate a return to the field is approaching as he increases his workload.

Why it matters: Alt's impending return stabilizes the Chargers' offensive front after the unit navigated multiple games without him during the regular season.

What to watch: Los Angeles will evaluate how Alt responds to increased activity this week before issuing his next official game status.
