What happened: FC Cincinnati sent on Ender Echenique and Ayoub Jabbari in the 64th minute, replacing Tom Barlow and Kenji Mboma Dem. The match against Philadelphia was scoreless at the time of the change.

Why it matters: Both sides were still level in an MLS postseason match, so the pair of fresh attackers gave Cincinnati two chances to break the deadlock before the closing stretch. Philadelphia had already made two substitutions of its own before Cincinnati responded.

What to watch: Watch whether either substitute changes the 0-0 scoreline in the final 25 minutes.
