What happened: Following Tuesday's trade sending Quenton Nelson from the Indianapolis Colts to the Seattle Seahawks, PFF's Collinsworth called the acquisition a major move that could swing a championship back to Seattle. The Seahawks acquired the eight-time Pro Bowl offensive guard in exchange for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick.

Why it matters: Seattle added the veteran interior blocker ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline to help curb quarterback Sam Darnold's turnovers under pressure. Drafted sixth overall out of Notre Dame in 2018, Nelson departs a 2-5 Indianapolis club that entered sell mode after firing general manager Chris Ballard.

By the numbers: Nelson carries an 85.7 PFF grade in the 2026 regular season, ranking second among all NFL guards, alongside six All-Pro selections and eight Pro Bowl appearances since 2018.

What to watch: Nelson joins Seattle ahead of Week 8 action, while the 2-5 Colts shop defensive tackle DeForest Buckner ahead of a Week 9 matchup with the Cowboys.
