What happened: Washington Commanders general manager Adam Peters indicated the franchise is evaluating potential additions across all positions ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline. Peters also stated that rookie wide receiver Antonio Williams will take on an expanded offensive role coming off the bye week. Additionally, Peters confirmed Washington did not pursue guard Quenton Nelson before his trade to the Seattle Seahawks.

Why it matters: Williams' increased involvement addresses offensive depth as Washington prepares for a divisional matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Peters also highlighted the defensive edge brought by cornerback Amik Robertson as the team returns from the open week. With the trade window closing on Nov. 10, Washington remains open to roster adjustments for the second half of the season.

By the numbers: Philadelphia enters Sunday's game at 2-5 following five consecutive losses, while Seattle stands at 4-3 after acquiring Nelson. Williams was selected 71st overall in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft out of Clemson, while Robertson previously totaled 52 tackles and one interception in 17 games during the 2025 season.

What to watch: Washington faces the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night before the NFL trade deadline closes on Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. ET.
