What happened: The Connecticut Sun are back at Mohegan Sun Arena on Monday for a matchup against the New York Liberty. The game marks a home return for the Sun as they continue their 2026 Commissioner’s Cup campaign.

Why it matters: The contest features the return of former Sun star Jonquel Jones to Uncasville. For the 2-10 Sun, the game is a critical opportunity to find footing at home against a 7-4 Liberty squad currently on a four-game winning streak.

By the numbers: New York (7-4) enters the night led by Breanna Stewart's 19.8 PPG; Connecticut (2-10) is currently without Aneesah Morrow (leg strain).

What to watch: The Sun remain at home for their next Commissioner's Cup fixture later this week.
