Hypocrite? Daniel Cormier reacts to own post-loss footage after Gable Steveson criticism #UFC331 https://t.co/AelFpFJFsZ

What happened: Cormier said Steveson should have remained in the cage for the hand raise at UFC 331. The heavyweight defeat ended at 0:12 of the opening round.

Why it matters: The exchange applies a former champion's conduct standard to a young heavyweight early in his UFC run. It also keeps focus on the brevity of the result rather than an extended contest.

By the numbers: Sharaf moved to 5-2-0 with the Round 1 stoppage at 0:12 at UFC 331.

What to watch: Watch for Steveson's next booking and whether Cormier addresses the exchange again on broadcast.
