More on Andy Dalton: Sources say he has offers from multiple teams he’s been mulling for a few days now. The #Eagles had Via @MikeGarafolo on X

What happened: Dalton has spent several days weighing offers from multiple teams. Philadelphia left the door open for him to rejoin on the practice squad before Hurts' latest blood-clot development. No decision on his next team has been settled.

Why it matters: Philadelphia released Dalton on Oct. 9, leaving a veteran backup slot unsettled during the 2026 regular season. Hurts' absence raises the value of a veteran with system familiarity.

By the numbers: Dalton completed 25 of 37 passes for 293 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception across 4 games in 2025. Hurts completed 294 of 454 passes for 3,224 yards with 25 touchdowns and 6 interceptions across 16 games in 2025.

What to watch: Watch whether Dalton chooses Philadelphia's practice-squad path or signs elsewhere. Philadelphia's next quarterback move will clarify depth behind Hurts.
