What happened: Devin Lloyd earned recognition off the field after receiving a nomination for the Salute to Service honor. On the field, he previously returned an interception for a touchdown in September to spark his defensive unit. His weekly consistency has made him a central playmaker across all phases of the defense.

Why it matters: Generating interior disruption while holding up in pass coverage separates true defensive cornerstones from typical starters. While pure edge rushers dominate postseason honors, complete off-ball linebackers provide essential stability on early downs and passing situations alike. Lloyd impacts every level of the field and belongs firmly in any elite positional debate.
