What happened: Dillon Dube will be re-evaluated in eight weeks after suffering a neck injury. The injury occurred during Thursday's preseason game against the San Jose Sharks.

Why it matters: The timeline sidelines Dube for the remainder of the preseason and the opening months of the 2026-27 NHL schedule. He had previously participated in informal skates ahead of training camp in September.

What to watch: An update on his playing status will be provided following his re-evaluation in early December.
