What happened: Speaking on his podcast, Draymond Green responded to Shams Charania's report that Golden State is exploring trades for Kristaps Porzingis. "Shams knows better than we do, so we'll see what happens," Green said. He added that the news was less a distraction than a reminder, because the team had grown used to playing without the center.

Why it matters: Porzingis, who remains out indefinitely with an undisclosed health issue, has been sidelined for several months, and Golden State has built its rotation without him. Charania reported that Porzingis is seriously considering his future in basketball. Green talked about health first and the roster second: "whether he plays basketball or not, it's not my concern.

What to watch: Next to watch: whether Golden State finds a trade partner for Porzingis, and any team update on his health or his decision about continuing his career.
