What happened: The club opens camp Thursday at Great Park Ice and FivePoint Arena, with fans admitted free of charge. It follows the Ducks' Bay Area rookie weekend and leads into Saturday's FlyTogether Fan Camp.

Why it matters: Camp is Anaheim's first full-team checkpoint before preseason work and early roster decisions take shape. It also arrives after a busy stretch for the Ducks, including Cutter Gauthier's six-year extension and Chris Kreider's departure from the roster.

What to watch: Watch for the first camp groups and any early lineup usage once sessions open Thursday. Saturday's fan event is the next public date on the schedule.
