What happened: Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Michael Carter II received the NFLPA Community MVP award after hosting his Baby Shower on the Block initiative. The community event provided essential supplies, educational panels, and postpartum resources to support new and expectant mothers.

Why it matters: The honor highlights Carter's off-field leadership during a challenging season in Philadelphia, where he was previously ruled out with an injury earlier this fall. His outreach continues an NFL tradition of players leveraging their visibility to expand maternal health resources in local communities.

What to watch: Carter and the Eagles turn their focus to their upcoming matchup as Philadelphia looks to stabilize its secondary and snap a losing skid.
