What happened: Philadelphia added secondary depth Wednesday by signing Christian Braswell to the practice squad. The cornerback entered the league as a sixth-round pick by Jacksonville in 2023 out of Rutgers.

Why it matters: The signing gives the organization another developmental defensive back with NFL regular-season experience. Braswell provides depth for the scout team and an option for potential game-day elevation.

What to watch: Braswell joins the practice unit as Philadelphia prepares for its Week 9 matchup against the Giants.
