What happened: The Atlanta Falcons have re-signed linebacker Jared Ivey to their practice squad. The move comes two days after Atlanta released him from the active roster.

Why it matters: Ivey clears waivers and remains in Atlanta's system to provide front-seven depth. The Falcons had trimmed their 53-man roster on Monday to make room for returning personnel, and retaining Ivey keeps a familiar defender within the organization.

What to watch: The Falcons will continue practice preparations ahead of Sunday's game, with Ivey now eligible for standard game-day elevations if needed.
