What happened: Ethan Salas recorded his first Major League hit, legging out a triple. The milestone came in his 16th career at-bat.

Why it matters: Salas, who recently made his Major League debut, is the youngest catcher to appear in the majors in 35 years. Securing his first hit helps alleviate early-career pressure for the highly touted prospect.

What to watch: He will look to build consistency at the plate as he gains further experience against major-league pitching.
