What happened: Cesc Fabregas, Como head coach, shut down speculation about the Chelsea job. "Nothing to say about that, it’d be stupid to think about that now — my focus is on next game against Genoa. I didn’t even saw any quote from our president," he said. Fabregas affirmed he believes he will continue his chapter at Como.

Why it matters: The statement stabilizes Como ahead of key Serie A matches. Chelsea, recently leapfrogged into 7th by Brighton in the Europe race, face ongoing rumors despite backing Strasbourg coach Liam Rosenior through 2027. It removes Fabregas from their potential shortlist.
