What happened: Medical personnel immobilized Kendal Daniels' neck and body before loading the Atlanta Falcons rookie onto a cart to exit the stadium, per Marc Raimondi. Daniels stayed down on the turf following head contact as Falcons teammates gathered around him.

Why it matters: Daniels has been part of Atlanta's rookie linebacker rotation alongside Perkins after drawing praise from the coaching staff during August camp. His departure further tests a Falcons linebacker group that placed Yasir Abdullah on injured reserve Oct. 11 and signed Bralen Trice to the active roster alongside practice-squad elevation Drake Jackson on Oct. 17.

What to watch: Atlanta's next update on Daniels will come via the team's official medical designation. Bralen Trice, Drake Jackson, and fellow rookie Perkins are the remaining active options to absorb linebacker snaps for the Falcons.
