What happened: Ferrari and Puma announced a special-edition cap for Lewis Hamilton to wear during the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend at Interlagos. The design pairs a distressed yellow crown over green detailing in the colors of the Brazilian flag, finished with silver Ferrari and Puma logos.

Why it matters: Brazil holds distinct personal weight for the 41-year-old seven-time world champion, who was granted honorary Brazilian citizenship in November 2022 following his 2021 victory at Interlagos. Hamilton dedicated that honor to childhood idol Ayrton Senna, whose mark Hamilton matched for the most Monaco podiums earlier this year.

By the numbers: Hamilton started P3 and finished P6 in the most recent round at the Singapore Grand Prix, while Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc took P2 behind race winner Max Verstappen.

What to watch: Retail sales for the cap open Nov. 3 ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix on Nov. 6-8, which closes out the Americas triple-header following the United States GP (Oct. 23-25) and Mexican GP (Oct. 30-Nov. 1).
