An incredible achievement for Lewis Hamilton as he levels Ayrton Senna for the most podium results in Monaco 🙌 https://t

What happened: Lewis Hamilton secured a second-place finish at the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix, officially equaling Ayrton Senna for the most podium results in the race's history. The result marks Hamilton's eighth trip to the Monaco rostrum, a feat previously held exclusively by the Brazilian icon since 1993.

Why it matters: The milestone reinforces Hamilton's standing in F1 history during his second season with Ferrari. While Kimi Antonelli's victory dominates the championship narrative, Hamilton's consistency has propelled him to second in the driver standings.

By the numbers: Hamilton and Senna now share the all-time lead with 8 Monaco podiums each. Following the race, Antonelli leads the championship with 156 points, while Hamilton follows in second with 90 points.

What to watch: The grid moves to Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix, a circuit where Hamilton holds a joint-record seven victories.
