What happened: AC Milan has officially confirmed the appointment of Ruben Amorim as head coach following his departure from Manchester United earlier this year. The Portuguese manager arrives on a contract through 2028 to replace Massimiliano Allegri.

Why it matters: Despite the official confirmation, a poll conducted by *Football Italia* revealed that a staggering majority of readers are skeptical of the move. Supporters remain wary of Amorim’s tactical flexibility following a challenging stint in the Premier League. Amorim faces immediate pressure to return the Rossoneri to the Champions League after a fifth-place finish.

What to watch: Amorim will lead Milan into the 2026-27 Europa League campaign while attempting to win over a skeptical fanbase.
