What happened: Gardner Minshew has taken over the starting quarterback role for the Arizona Cardinals following an overtime comeback win in Week 8. Minshew stepped in under center to spark the offense during Arizona's 33-30 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The team confirmed his transition to QB1 moving forward.

Why it matters: The change under center reshapes Arizona's offense after benching Jacoby Brissett, who was traded to Baltimore. Carson Beck now serves as the primary backup while Minshew commands the huddle. The Cardinals aim to build on the Week 8 rally to stay competitive in the NFC West.

What to watch: The Cardinals prepare for their Week 9 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks with Minshew leading the first-team offense.
