What happened: The Seattle Mariners announced that Logan Gilbert will take the mound in tomorrow's series finale. The right-hander draws the assignment as Seattle looks to close out the set on a positive note.

Why it matters: Gilbert has anchored the Mariners' rotation and represents the club's best chance to steady a series that has slipped away from them. A strong outing would help Seattle avoid a deflating finish and send the rotation into its next stretch with momentum.

What to watch: Watch how deep Gilbert can work into the game and whether Seattle's offense can back him in the finale.
