What happened: The Golden State Valkyries hold a 41-31 advantage at the intermission. Kayla Thornton tallied nine points and six rebounds, while Kaitlyn Chen added eight points in the opening half.

Why it matters: The fast start reflects Golden State's recent dominant form during their active winning streak. Isabelle Harrison countered with 10 points and four rebounds to keep the contest competitive, supported by five points and three boards from Marina Mabrey.

By the numbers: Golden State brings a 16-7 record and a five-game winning streak into the contest, relying on a defense allowing just 76.7 points per game. Their opponents enter the matchup with a 9-13 mark and have dropped their last two outings.

What to watch: The final two quarters will determine if the road squad can preserve their double-digit cushion.
