A player health update presented by @emoryhealthcare for tonight's game vs. Houston: Jock Landale (nasal fracture): Av Via @ATLHawks on X

What happened: Atlanta listed center Jock Landale as available for Saturday night's matchup with Houston at State Farm Arena after he suited up with a nasal fracture on Friday. Frontcourt reserves Mouhamed Gueye (left foot fracture) and Henri Veesaar (torn right ACL) remain ruled out.

Why it matters: Having Landale active on the second night of a back-to-back preserves interior depth while two other frontcourt options recover from long-term lower-body injuries. Gueye has been sidelined since undergoing foot surgery in July, leaving limited frontcourt

By the numbers: Atlanta enters Saturday at 2-0 on the 2026-27 regular season following Friday's 128-81 road win at Charlotte, with Landale playing on a one-year, $14 million contract.

What to watch: Atlanta tips off its home schedule against Houston on Saturday night aiming for a 3-0 start.
