What happened: Ariel Helwani threw his support behind Buffalo ahead of Thursday's game against Detroit. The Bills went on to win 41-31 later that night.

Why it matters: The shoutout landed around a Bills team carrying renewed 2026 expectations into the season. It also came as Buffalo's offense kept drawing attention after another 41-point showing.

What to watch: The immediate focus shifts to Buffalo's next game and whether that offensive pace carries over another week. DJ Moore's day-to-day shoulder status remains one of the short-term roster items to monitor.
