What happened: ID Technologies has committed to donate $5 for every assist the Washington Mystics record this season in support of the team's Assist DC program. So far this season, the Mystics have totaled 349 assists, generating $1,745 in donations.

Why it matters: The pledge ties the team's ball movement directly to community giving, extending the Mystics' Assist DC initiative that has run throughout the season. It turns an on-court statistic into a recurring source of funding for the program.

By the numbers: At $5 per assist, the Mystics' 349 assists to date have produced $1,745 in committed donations through ID Technologies.

What to watch: The donation total will continue to grow as Washington adds assists across the second half of the 2026 season.
