What happened: The New York Islanders have returned Isaiah George on loan to Hamilton. The roster transaction comes one day after New York recalled George from Hamilton on Oct. 31.

Why it matters: The reassignment trims New York's active roster following George's brief stay with the NHL club. The move returns George to Hamilton to maintain regular playing time.

What to watch: Hamilton resumes its schedule with George back in the lineup, while New York continues its regular-season slate.
