What happened: Fowler held firm in the crease to close out Montreal's latest contest as the game went final. The goaltender maintained control between the pipes to guide the Canadiens through regulation.

Why it matters: Fowler previously established traction after putting together an extended winning streak with Montreal. His emergence provides reliability at the position and stabilizes the roster for the regular-season stretch.

What to watch: Montreal will look to maintain momentum in net as regular-season play continues.
