What happened: Jahmyr Gibbs recorded 14 rushing first downs on Sunday. No other running back logged more than seven across the opening slate.

Why it matters: The volume highlights a heavy early workload, as he took 29 carries in an overtime victory over the Saints. Sustaining drives at that rate provides a critical offensive anchor for Detroit.

What to watch: Watch how the rushing distribution is managed in coming weeks after a 29-carry workload in the opener.
