What happened: Jalen Johnson connected with Onyeka Okongwu on an alley-oop pass that Okongwu finished with a slam during the 2026-27 NBA regular-season opening slate.

Why it matters: The lob chemistry between Johnson as a playmaking forward and Okongwu as a rim runner provides interior scoring efficiency in transition and half-court sets.

What to watch: Johnson and Okongwu continue their opening-week slate as the 2026-27 regular season gets underway.
