What happened: Jaquan Brisker publicly criticized Jared Verse after comments were directed at the Pittsburgh Steelers leading up to Sunday. Pittsburgh controlled the contest to finish with a 27-6 victory.

Why it matters: Trash talk creates accountability, and failing to disrupt an opponent after challenging them gives the opposing sideline full license to respond. The Pittsburgh Steelers backed up their preparation on the field, leaving Brisker with every reason to call out the lack of production.
