What happened: Zack Baun secured a fumble for the Philadelphia Eagles during their Sunday matchup against the Washington Commanders. The turnover helped Philadelphia build a 10-0 advantage while the contest is in progress.

Why it matters: Baun has made 51 tackles in 2026 through 6 games after being named NFC Defensive Player of the Week in September. The Philadelphia Eagles entered Sunday with a 2-5 record in 2026 through 7 games, making his steady playmaking essential to the unit. Continuous takeaway production at this rate elevates him directly into the top tier of NFL linebackers.
