What happened: Richardson remained part of Friday's training-camp run-through after meeting media earlier in the day as the 2026-27 preseason got underway.

Why it matters: Early October camp touchpoints matter because teams start sorting preseason workloads and rotation clues before exhibition results take over. Richardson staying visible keeps him in that evaluation window heading into the next phase of camp.

What to watch: Watch for whether that camp visibility carries into clearer preseason usage as rotations start to take shape.
