What happened: The Philadelphia Eagles have named Joe Milton III starting quarterback for Sunday's matchup against the New York Giants. Milton takes over under center as Philadelphia benches Tanner McKee following a 27-10 road loss to the Washington Commanders. The start marks Milton's first regular-season nod of the 2026 campaign.

Why it matters: Milton becomes the fourth quarterback to see action for Philadelphia this season as the offense looks to revitalize a stagnant rushing attack with his mobility. Team leadership is positioning Milton to retain the starting role through the Thanksgiving meeting with Dallas if the offense stabilizes. The change represents an immediate pivot for an offense seeking consistent production heading into November.

What to watch: Philadelphia hosts New York on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET, televised on FOX and streaming on NFL+.
