What happened: Nikola Jokic is questionable due to a right elbow sprain, while Jamal Murray is designated questionable with a left shin issue ahead of Monday's matchup against the Houston Rockets. Christian Braun is also questionable with a left calf contusion and illness, alongside Aaron Gordon and Cameron Johnson, who are both listed for lower body injury management.
Why it matters: Houston enters at 7-3 in 2026-27 through 10 games, holding the sixth seed despite two consecutive defeats. Sidelining multiple core contributors would place heavy strain on rotation depth against a Rockets squad looking to break its two-game losing streak.
By the numbers: Murray has recorded 24.3 points per game and 6.1 assists per game in 2026-27 through 8 games. Jokic has recorded 22.9 points per game and 10.1 rebounds per game in 2026-27 through 8 games. Gordon has recorded 12.3 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game in 2026-27 through 8 games.
What to watch: Final active designations will be determined closer to tipoff on Monday.
