What happened: Per Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler, Jonathon Cooper comes off the commissioner exempt list Friday. He is expected to be eligible for Denver's Week 7 game against Arizona.

Why it matters: His return restores a veteran edge option after a six-game absence tied to a June domestic-violence arrest. His trial date is set for March 2-4.

What to watch: Denver's Week 7 inactive list will confirm whether he suits up against Arizona.
