What happened: Kansas City ruled Simmons out Friday for Sunday's game against Las Vegas. The tackle had carried a questionable designation earlier this week before the club made the downgrade.

Why it matters: The No. 32 pick in the 2025 draft remains unavailable for an AFC West matchup against the Raiders. It also extends an early-season run of missed time for Simmons after multiple prior injury updates.

What to watch: Kansas City's final inactive list will arrive before kickoff Sunday, and Simmons' next status change should come with next week's practice reports.
