What happened: Katie Taylor's final bout has been announced for a stadium event in Dublin. Reports Friday said the undisputed super-lightweight champion will face unbeaten Flora Pili at Croke Park on Sept. 5.

Why it matters: The event gives Taylor a long-sought farewell in Ireland's national stadium after years of attempts to stage a major homecoming there. It also frames the bout as both a title fight and the closing chapter of one of modern boxing's defining careers.

What to watch: Watch for the full undercard, ticket details and any commission filings confirming the bout terms. Taylor's final camp will set the tone for how she exits the sport.
